Republican Candidate for Congress Speaks at Hitler’s Birthday Celebration

Proving once again that it is not an unknown occurrence for a Republican to embrace less than progressive social ideas, a Republican candidate for the House of Representatives from Indiana, Tony Zirkle, spoke at a 119th Birthday celebration for everyone’s favorite genocidal fascist dictator, Adolph Hitler. The celebration featured lovely flowered wallpaper and a “Happy 119th Birthday” sign that was perhaps purchased at Walgreens.

This was most likely an attempt to top Mr. Zirkle’s previous political statement, which was shredding a vintage Playboy to promote sex within marriage. The Elitist presumes that this all makes sense in Mr. Zirkle’s head.

Election 2008 rolls on.
